How much spice rum do i need to drink?!

Question:

How much spice rum do i need to drink?

So I am here, in my bedroom, with a bottle of captain morgan spiced rum. I bought it yesterday, when i turned 21, because of that " i'm young, in college, i'm a geeky loser who needs to "fit in" and impress the ladies and I can rebel from my parents. I'm so cool. " syndrome that seems to affect my age group. I never got drunk before and I havn't attended a drinking party in my whole life. So,I was wondering this: how much of spice rum do I have to drink in order to get drunk? I already poured about 15-20 ounces into a glass. I had a few sips and I must say, this stuff is strong! it taste terrible too, does the taste have to be acquired? I know you guys woudn't advice this since it is lso ate, and I have big plans tomorrow, but what the hell.

Answers:
O.K. First off, you don't want to drink it straight. Captain Morgan is good either with 7-up or Coke. 1 or 2 oz. per can of coke... no more. Second, if you have big plans tomorrow, only drink 2 or 3. You'll sleep good, but not feel too bad and stink of booze tomorrow. The rest is all that parental crap I'm sure you hear enough of... except this... don't drive, don't act like a dumbass and get arrested, and don't try to impress anyone when you drink, especially girls, unless they're drunk too. Take care and remember that 21 makes you legal, not brilliant. (Bet you feel bad for my 17 year old boy huh? LOL)

id say, since youve never drank before...dont drink that glass you just poured....you'll regret drinking that much

either take 3 or 4 shots (which depending on how much you weigh, should be a good start) or pour about half a glass of rum and mix with half a glass of coca cola.

15-20 ounces sounds like if you arnt a regular drinker, start off with just 1-2 ounces shots, give it some time, it will hit you

You could get away with about three ounces, but you drink to enjoy, not to get drunk.

No one likes driving the white porcelain bus or selling buicks or calling to the whales, OK?

yes the taste has to be acquired-esp. if you are a rookie drinker

i'd say about a third of the bottle will have you tanked

why not mix it with some sprite or coke-DUH!!!
