Real Ale Festival at J D Wetherspoon pubs?!
Answers: Hello Opinion on the Ale Festival on at Wetherspoons pubs at the moment .I was at one in Middlesborough last nite the Ale was fantastic and the steaks All at a very reasonable price i Will be back for some more Well done J D Wetherspoon and Camra.
There are some great ales available,especially the Stone California Double IPA,this is one of the top five ales that I have ever tasted.Pedigree six and Beartown Ginger Bear are both worth trying.The only ale that I have disliked so far is the Ecaussines Cookie Beer which I found to have a sickly overpowering taste of cinnamon;but other ale lovers may probably like it.Fortunately there are many others to try.
JD wetherspoons usually have a good selection anyway,so I will take your recommendation and get down to my local for a couple of snifters.

I think it finishes today. Wetherspoons have 2 Real Ale Festivals. The next one will be around October time.
They usually have a good selection of real ales every day. My local one also sells real cider (Scrumpy), not easy to find and very enjoyable!
