If I'm reading your question correctly, you're looking for a variety of things. You want a site that will give you information about the different wines out there but you also seem to want a place to have a wine journal so to say. I'm not sure you will find it all in one place but for the wine journal/wine blogs, I would suggest Yahoo 360. As for looking for information about wines and buying wines, Andrea Immer is a good one and the other one that immediately pops to mind is Tony Aspler. Here are links to their websites:
