I want to start drinking but I hate the taste of beer. Does anyone know a good tasting beer I could start with!

This is all under the pretense that you are of legal drinking age.
If your new too drinking beer it may be a while before you develp a taste for it and actually enjoy drinking it.
Start off with a light beer, maybe bud light or coors light they are very easy beers too drink.
Also make sure the beer is really cold, becuase warm beer is just all around nasty.
Try cider. Most are made of apples and it tastes like fizzy apple juice with a little kick. Woodchuck is good.
Don't start drinking and you won't have to worry OR you can man up and start guzzling some Corona Extra without the lime LOL

Cider is definitely a good thing! But, if you want to stick to beer, try some of the microbrews. I'm a fan of blondes and even som rasberry ales. You can find them at a local microbrew/restaurant. Try one with a steak dinner, LOL. The beer helps wash everything down and the steak helps wash the taste of the beer down. Two great things that go hand in hand!

Are you 21? Why do you want to start drinking? I don't like the taste of beer either so when I do drink It's either Jack, rum or some other kind of liquer. But don't do it to fit in or be pressured into drinking it really isn't cool especially if you can't handle the alcohol it just makes you look like a dork. The only beer I will drink if I have to is Bud Ice.

Tony--I'm an alcoholic--learned by owning breweries--WHY DO YOU WANT TO START DRINKING?? If you're happy without getting drunk, why do you need it. I never have used drugs, even in Viet Nam, where they were omnipresent. I bought some restaurant/lounges where the owner was expected to drink with the patrons and always be the life of the party. Thank God, I can afford the 6-18 cans of beer a day. Please--you don't need alcohol!!!

Whatever, you want to grow up to be a 44 year old on the transplant list, that's your problem.
All the beers which I consider to be good would kick your butt. You are at the stage where you need a light, refreshing, crisp beer without much malt backbone or hop flavor. On the other hand, you don't want a ton of adjuncts (fancy speak for crap), so that eliminates Bud, Miller, Coors and their respective low class brands (Natural, Keystone, etc). At the same time, some beers tend to just be offensive (Heineken, Corona). I would reccomend you try a Killian's. Simple, basic, no real flavor, nothing to hate. It actually uses malt, instead of corn and rice, so I feel safe calling it beer.
Plus, since you're 44, you can just walk down to any old store and pick it up, that's how ubiquitous it is.
first of all no bud light, miller light, and corona they taste like piss. Get a beer called SCHMIDT, i usually has a deer or fish on the can it cost $15 for 30 cans. It is the best **** out there
I hate beer, I think it's gross and to this day I really don't like it. However I did find a Lambic beer that I like. It's called Peche Lambic and it comes it pretty big bottles, almost wine like bottles and can be found in the import section. I really like the peach kind but it also comes in Black Cherry and Raspberry. It's a Lambic which means it goes through 2 fermenting processes, one with hops like a normal beer, then a second with whatever fruit so it can ferment with that. It gives it a really smooth taste and a nice fruity twist so the hops isn't so overpowering. I highly recommend it.
