Breakfast cocktail?!

Question:

Breakfast cocktail?

What's a good breakfast drink, maybe champagne based (other than mimosa) for a birthday brunch (hawaiian theme)?

Answers:
I love Dole pineapple, orange. banana juice mix with champagne, It is very light and tropical.

Try bellinis

isn't it a sin to have drinks before 12pm...?

A Screwdriver or a Bloody Mary

I think it could be a number of drinks but the one I would go with would be...Grey Goose, Malibu Rum, and Grapefruit juice. Or Malibu Rum, Grapefruit juice, pinapple juice, and a splash of cranberry. Dont forget your little umbrella!!!!

Gin and fruit punch. Simple and easy. Throw in dices of pineapple.

This Hawaiian Holiday Smoothie recipe looks great!

1/2 pkt peach mango dessert tofu - (abt 6 oz)
1 med banana
1/4 cup pineapple chunks plus
3 tbl juice from pineapple - (to 4)
1/4 cup soymilk - (to 1/2)
(depending how thick you want it)
1 tbl unsweetened coconut - (to 2)

Method :
Blend all ingredients in blender and enjoy. You can adjust the amount of liquid to get the desired thickness.
This recipe yields 1 serving.

Or you could knock 'em dead early in the morning with Hawaiian Punch (Alcoholic)

1 oz Southern Comfort
3/4 oz Amaretto
6 oz Pineapple juice
dash Grenadine

Combine all ingredients and shake well. Serve over ice.

you could do something similiar to the mimosa, but with guava juice instead of OJ.

bellini made with maybe papaya or mango juice instead of the peach puree for that tropical vibe.

How about a Fizzy Fuzzy Navel?

1 1/2 oz Peach Schnapps
2 oz OJ
Fill w/ champagne

Pour Schnapps and OJ over 2 ice cubes. Fill with Champagne and stir gently.

My fave though is the Kir Royale which is 1 part creme de cassis to 5 parts champagne. Creme de cassis is a black currant liquer and is red colored. so makes a fun looking cocktail.
