What is a fifth?, i.e. a fifth of bacardi...?!

Question:

What is a fifth?, i.e. a fifth of bacardi...?

Answers:
It is 750 ml. of a type of alcohol that gets you drunk when you consume it. And when I say drunk, I mean you start drooling, falling around, slurring your words and fornicating with fat chicks.

it is a fifth of a gallon. Im not sure but thats pretty close to a litre

750ml I believe because I just got some Hennessy and my boyfriend said it was a fifth and it says 750ml on the bottle.

A fifth is one fifth short of a quart. It is the smaller bottle when you see two bottles that are close to the same in size. The big one is a quart. The little one is what you get if you take the quart and divide it into five equal parts then take one of the parts out, what is left is called a fifth. I know it's a bit crazy, but I didn't invent the system. I'm betting not too many people know this.

4/5 of a quart.

A fifth is one fifth of a gallon, which, indeed, makes it 4 fifths of a quart. Since America went to the metric system for liquor and wine, you won't see many fifths anymore. On the other hand a fifth is very close to 750 ml. A fifth has 3.2 cups liquid measure. 750 ml is 3.17 cups.
