What is your favorite drink? Do you like to drink alone?!
I am a failed alc0holic. I forget to drink. Even when I say I am going to have a drink, I forget. I usually find a glass and the bottle of something still unpoured sitting on the counter.
I prefer not to drink often nor do I like getting drunk. I don't mind the occassional buzz, tipsiness, but not drunk. Perhaps I am a "control freak" as I think clarity of life and facing life's problems along with solving those problems is better than drinking and wishing it away. I used to drink socially everynight, but over time, it becomes an empty sense of getting fulfillment in life even for entertainment purposes when it is done too frequently
When I do have a drink, I will simply mix a tonic & Vodka, Capt Mortgan & Ginger Ale (cream soda taste), or whatever is in the coffers of my almost full bar. Many of the bottles are over a year old. My husband does Jack & Coke.
He used to be a more frequent drinker prior to me, but has since modified his habit because he feels he no longer needs to drown problems anymore either. He adopted my attitude of creating resolutions instead of complaining about problems. So whenever one of us gets complaining too much, then we remind the other it is time to work a solution and we do that together so the one complaining doesn't feel so loss in trying to figure out the plan of action

scotch, neat. dont like to drink alone, but i will.
Craft beer... Dogfish Head or Bell's are my top two brewers.
Do I like it... I really don't care one way or the other. I drink because I like the taste and I like to explore the different flavor possibilities. If I'm having a beer while watching TV at night is no big deal to me. I prefer the company of friends (who also like good beer) so we can talk about the subtleties of the brew... but I can just take notes and post my reviews online late.
