Which Johnny Walkers have you had, and what's your favorite? why?!

Question: Please don't tell me what scotches are "better" than Walker.

Answers: Please don't tell me what scotches are "better" than Walker.

Red: 8 years old,tolerable taste,cheap.
Black:12 years old,a little harsh. I think that with the same money you can buy s/th better
Green:15 years old, similar with black
Gold: 18 years old, very smooth. A good variety, not as high quality as the cost.
Blue: 25-50 years old. Very Good,Very expensive. At least once in your life must drink it.

My suggestion is: From the cheap ones, try Bell's. If you want to spend more money Glendffidich

blue label is good because it doesnt leave such a sting in the mouth and the throat

red and black.................I like black better

Blue Label is also well something near $200 for a 750mL bottle. Ive had black label, not a fan of scotch that much.

Black label is my favorite coz its really smooth in your throat.

Red and Black.
Black is obviously better than Red, but for the price, there are many single malts that are far better.
never tried blue or gold, have been tempted to try green, but again, theres a bunch of great whiskys in the same price range.

Gold for the pricing
Blue if it is free

I've had Red, Black and Gold. I wouldn't recommend Red or Black at all. Gold was okay but there are plenty of others that are better in the same price range. If you are looking for a moderately priced quality Scotch then I would seek out other brands that are single-malts. IMO there are plenty of other single-malts that have much more character and are head and shoulders above Walker that are near the same price range. As requested, I am not going to recommend any other Scotches that I feel are better than JW, but try something that you have never heard of before...you might be surprised! There are plenty of Scotches that I would buy before JW Gold or Blue.

red is rubish....CANADIAN CLUB WHISKY ALL THE WAY!

Johnnie Walker Red, Black, Blue, Swing....

I have had red, black, green, gold, blue and...SWING. Green is good, gold is better for price compared to Blue. If you don't have to buy the blue then I would say Blue. Swing is pretty smooth as well.
