What kind of wine do i have?!
Answers: last night a friend from another band gave me a bottle of wine. im trying to find more info on it.. like what kind it is, what it could taste like, how much are the bottles, stuff like that..on the bottle it says 2005 shiraz california, and in big letters it says equus...on the back it says it was cellared and bottled by wild horse of geyserville,ca.. if anyone knows any information on what i have, i would certainly appreciate it. thank u
it is a red wine, that was made in the state of california. Cellared and bottled means that the grapes for the winery Wild Horse did not grow the grapes. they did however, age and bottle the wine. the grapes could come from anywhere in the state of california. the ironic part is the wild horse winery, is located in paso robles, california, which is approximately 400 miles away from Geyserville. the wine probably comes from the central coast of california, and was purchase through wild horse winery, but is bottled up in their sister winery Geyser Peak.
i work with wild horse winery, printing labels and have never heard of the brand equus wine before. so it is either a new brand to them, or they are doing some sort of co-pack project.
You have a 2005 red wine made from grapes that were grown in California. It is always better when a wine is made and bottled at the same place which is a little like the wording on your bottle. The grape type is Shiraz, it is not a place and the vitner is Equus. It does not sound like a particulary expensive bottle of wine (probably not more than 7 to 15 dollars. It will probably taste kind of earthy. That is the best way I can think to describe it.
talk look to the back of bottle u will see the web for this wine i understand from from u its Shiraz and that's mean its red wine but how come its one litter because we used on wine bottle only for 750 ml
