What quantities of sugar and water do I need to use please???!
You used to be able to buy 100% proof alcohol essences from bottle shops. They were 750 ml bottles, and were made for people who liked to 'cook' their own alcohol. These are no longer available, but I have been given one bottle of Sambuca cooking essence that I described above, and would love to make up one last batch for myself.
I'm not looking to brew my own, nor will I be able to access more of the same, but would like to make up this lone bottle. Can you help me please???
Answers: I have a 1 litre bottle of Sambuca essence (50% alc. vol.) which I would like to make into an alcoholic beverage for my own use. I'm happy with the alcoholic content - no problem there.

LOL, I see you asked this question in another forum! Below is the only thing I could find on how to mix with water and sugar. The others I have read were how to mix it with vodka...
