What is the difference between St James Gate Guiness in cans and ordinary guiness?!

Question: I like both, but is it just taste or is there another reason?

If you are talking about the difference between guinness extra stout and guinness draught cans or bottles then there is a difference. Reasons for the difference in taste is the recipe itself and the fact that the draught version uses a "widget" that puts nitrogen into the beer to give it the smooth taste the other uses plain carbonation. You can actually see the difference in how the head forms when you pour them both.

If you are referring to the difference between beer coming from St James Gate and a brewery in Canada that brews guinness under supervision from Arthur guinness inc, I believe there is a difference also.

draft Guinness has a spacial spout , it has hydrogen and gives it trick chocolaty look also Guinness is a 3 pour beer with the top looking like a dome and a clover in the middle

The metal in the cans react with the beer and leave a funny taste whereas the bottles do not.

James Gate is brewed in James Gate , Dublin , the other may be brewed for Guiness elsewhere

There's several versions of Guinness for specific markets, at least 15 last time I checked. There's various factors which distinguish each one.

EDIT:
"Guinness is a stout not a beer..."

Funniest thing I've read all day. Stout is a beer style.

guinness is a stout not a beer...
