Question:

How to make sangria???

Does anyone have a really good recipe to make sangria?? It's not the same out of the bottle. I am thinking of making some for my college graduation party that I am going to have.

Answers:
INGREDIENTS:
1 Bottle of red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Rioja, Zinfandel, Shiraz)
1 Lemon cut into wedges
1 Orange cut into wedges
1 Lime cut into wedges
2 Tbsp sugar
Splash of orange juice
2 Shots of gin
1 Cup of sliced strawberries or raspberries (may use thawed or frozen)
1 Small can of diced pineapples (with juice)
4 Cups ginger ale
PREPARATION:
Pour wine in the pitcher and squeeze the juice wedges from the lemon, orange and lime into the wine. Toss in the fruit wedges (leaving out seeds if possible) and pineapple then add sugar, orange juice and gin.

Mmm i love sangria. Use what you have in the house, there are tons of recipes out there. Its fun to expirement with different fruits, wines and liquors. Sangria gets better the longer you let it sit. The flavors of the fruit juices, red wine and brandy meld together.

one bottle red wine
a shot (or two) of brandy
juice of one lime or lemon
assorted chopped fruit

two parts ICE COLD Carlo Rossi Sangria wine + one part 7up will do the trick with a slice of mandarine orange and two marachino cherries at the bottom of the glass. Cheers!

My husband and I went to Aruba in 2001 and ate at this fabulous restaurant called El Gaucho. We were sitting at the bar and be-friended the bartenders. The sangria was so good we asked for the recipe.

Oranges
bananas

pears

I was just on a resort in Mexico a week a go, and they made it in a really simple manner. It was tasty, but there was no fruit or special ingredients. It was club soda, lemonade, and wine. But it was excellent.

Simple one is - red wine, sweet vermout, some lime juice and sugar.
