Shipping alcohol?!

Question: If alcohol is ordered by a 21 year old and sent to a residence
do they let a minor sign for it? Do they leave it on the doorstep?

If it is ordered off beverages and more by someone over 21 can it be shipped to a different address? Do they leave it on the doorstep?

They are supposed to sticker it that it contains alcohol and check the ID of the person signing.

I order wine all the time. They actually do about 3/4 of the time. Either the shipper misses the sticker, or the UPS/FedEX guy doesn't check.

wait until you are 21 , jerk

NO, most if not all companies require the signature of some one 21+ to accept the order. It will not be left unattended at a doorstep. The policies are the same as liquors or grocery stores.

If you're legally allowed to receive wine in your state, then an adult signature is required. They won't leave it on your doorstep. Well, sometimes they will, but technically, they're not supposed to. UPS and Fedex both the same. No USPS, it's illegal to send booze through the mail.
I think you can ship to an address that's different from the billing address, but they still require an adult signature.

If you're underage and trying to figure out a way to get booze, this scheme has already been thought of.

sure
