Wine that appreciates in value?!

Question: I am looking for some good, affordable wine that will appreciates in value

Answers: I am looking for some good, affordable wine that will appreciates in value

Well, you may not be able to find a wine that will appreciate in value that is "affordable". It depends on what you define as "affordable" but most wines that will appreciate it value are very pricey to begin with. I think you'd be looking at spending at least $100. I'm not sure what tax bracket you're in but that's not what I call affordable. I don't think you can find a wine like that in the range that I consider affordable ($20 or less). As for the types of wines generally considered for investment purposes, those would be French Bordeauxs, Burgandies, Italian Brunellos, Barolos, Barbarescos, high end Austrailian Shiraz, California Mertige and some Pinot Noirs but in all cases I would say you'd be lucky to find one that would really appreciate in value that was much less than $100. With extensive searching you may be able to find a couple between the $50-75 range. You'd probably have to go outside of the types of wines I listed above and check into some of the very best offerings from Chile, Argentina, South Africa and other burgeoning wine growing regions. Best of luck
