Do i keep my grey goose vodka in the freezer?!

Question: i could have sworn i heard that somewhere.

Answers: i could have sworn i heard that somewhere.

Vodka should be stored in freezer. Specifically, it should be stored in the freezer overnight, or at least for a few hours. This will bring the liquor to its proper consistency and flavor.

you can... it won't freeze

I think it's all about preference. We keep our liquor in the freezer because we prefer serving and drinking it ice cold.

I think I have heard the same thing. The high alcohol content keeps it from freezing, and friends of mine used to keep their high-proof alcohols in the freezer. But I'm sure nothing would be wrong with keeping it in the fridge.

yes it taste way better

You can.

everyone I know keeps their vodka in the fridge. Makes it good for shots!!! Grey goose? You have good taste!

You keep it any where you want. You want it cold? Put it in the fridge. Colder? Put it in the freezer.

It tastes better if you do

I can only keep my liquor in a locked safe, to which I do not have the combination. You're already way ahead of me...

yeah..........it wont freeze.

You can keep any hard alcohol in the freezer and it will not freeze. It's a personal prefrence, but most people do prefer their shots ice cold.

Do not, however, put your beers or malt drinks in the freezer. That alchohol WILL freeze and expand, and the glass will shatter.

There isn't a law against it. You could probably pop it in your car radiator in winter instead of anti-freeze. Whatever turns you on. Personally I would put it in the fridge.
One summer in Hong Kong I invited a couple for lunch. The husband considered himself to be very knowledgeable about wine. When I took the sherry out of the fridge, he said, 'You don't put sherry in the fridge.' However, it was a very dry sherry, and after trying it, he agreed with me.
We then sat down to eat and I took the red wine out off the fridge. He was appalled.
'It's 33°C outside and in the flat with all the air conditioners on full blast, it's still 26°C inside. The wine is now 17°C., or did you want Glühwein'?
He bowed to my superior reasoning.

Not necessary, but it does taste nicer.

we keep ours in the freezer, and a couple hours before serving, I soak a paper towel in water and wrap it around the bottle and place it back in the fridge so its extra icyyy...

yes, u do!
