Would the flavor of vodka stain a plastic / rubbery container?!


Question: To be more specific, the rubbery plastic container that fits into a camel back that is used for cycling, which usually stores the energy drink. Would the flavor of the spirit stick to the container and still be taste-able when it is next used with energy drink?

Remember, alcohol can dissolve plastic. So the taste of the spirit might be ruined. As for the plastic, a few rinses should do the trick along with some dish detergents.

It really shouldn't! maybe the smell will be a bit tough to get out but even that if you use it and clean in it right after it shouldn't stick!
