yes the filter will keep the THC. it will also make your smoke more inefficient. If I were you i would learn how to roll blunts (phillies, swisher sweet, garcia vega, blunt wraps) or buy some zig zags and learn how to roll joints. A GREAT WAY TO SMOKE IS A FRENCH SPLIFF. It does take skill to roll though. THEY ARE AWESOME.

Don't use a cigarette. Its a pain in the @rse to do and usually breaks. Invest in a 2 dollar blunt wrap or a pack of papers, its worht it.
OK your question is "Rolling a blunt" a cigarette is not a blunt. Go out and buy either a swisher sweet, and gut it out, or go buy a blunt wrap. Don't use a cigarette.

Why don't you just buy papers? It's alot cheaper than wasting a cigarette? And why would you smoke it with a filter?
you could pull the filter out and shread it in half and put it back in or cut most of it off with a pair of sissors. i used to do that before i learned how to roll
Zig Zags? In the 50s we used newspaper. (We never worried about the turpentine in the ink.)
