Any alcoholic drinks/coctail recipes for fussy people who only drink alcopops?!

Question: I'm having about 10 people round in a month and thought it would be fun to make my own drinks.

I'm fussy with alcohol and only drink alcopops such as WKD, Barcadis and smirnoff etc... The only shots I can take are Malibu (Just so you have an idea of what I may like)

I'm assuming people would suggest recipes for cocktails. I have never made one before, so have no idea which ones I would like.

We are going to be drinking allot because it's my birthday :)

Thanks so much for any suggestions!

There are quite a few highballs that you would probably find enjoyable. Just go easy on the amount of alcohol you add until you're used to them.

About half a shot of vodka, fill the glass with 7-Up, and add a splash of lime juice, and you'll have something that tastes similar, but superior to the Smirnoff alcopops. Nowhere near as sickly sweet, and actually less severe hangovers.

Margaritas are a good one too. Bacardi actually sells a margarita mix in a small can available in most grocery stores. Use the mix, a few ounces of booze (white rum works well if you're not a fan of tequila), and a bunch of ice in the blender, and make yourself some tasty slurpees. These have the benefit of being easy and fun to prepare as well as being yummy.

If you're looking for some shooters you might like, besides straight Malibu, try a Gladiator.

To make a Gladiator, fill a shot glass with 3/4 ounce of Amaretto, and 1/4 ounce of peach schnapps. Fill a tumbler (or beer mug) about 3/4 full with half & half orange juice and 7-Up. Take the shot glass, and make a toast. Drop the full shot glass into the tumbler, and drink the whole concoction down as quickly as you can. It's a lot more pleasant than straight shots of booze, and always a big hit at parties.

i'm pretty picky about alcohol, and one of my favorites is a vodka collins
(for one glass)
fill glass with sprite
add grenadine (just a splash, 1/2 shot at most or it's too syrupy)
add vodka (1 shot or more depending on how strong you like them)

it tastes just like a shirley temple/kiddie cocktail but it's not for kids!

Why not keep it simple! Try making a smoothie and adding some alchol. Also try Allrecipes.com they have beverages on there you may like

My Favorite:
Mix lemon/ orange/ or any citrus sorbet with vodka. OMG its one of the best frozen drinks and you don't even have to make a mess with the blender!

Also Lime/ Strawberry sorbet works with tequila

Jungle juice! Fifth of rum, half gal vodka, 2 liter sierra mist, and Hawaiian Punch and slice up some fresh fruit (kiwis, strawberries, lemons, limes, oranges, etc) and let it sit for a while. Put it all in a big bowl or one of those gatoraid type coolers. It's so good. and so strong, can't help put love it. I freeze the fruit first, it seems a little better that way.

My favorite is something called a Cake Shot.

1 oz. vanilla vodka
1/2 oz. hazelnut liqueur (like Frangelico)

Pour into a shaker over ice. Shake gently. Strain into shot glasses.

Tastes like cake batter! Mmmm...
