How to make the PERFECT JELLO SHOT???!

Question:

How to make the PERFECT JELLO SHOT???

I supposedly volunteered to make jello shots, the last time we had jello shots, which sucked by the way cause they used everclear, so I want my jello shots to be the best ones anyone has had, So I ask again "HOW CAN I MAKE THE PERFECT JELLO SHOT???" All helpful response will be appreciated. my hope lies wit you, so please don't steer me wrong. I will probably use Skyy 90 vodka the rest is up to you.

Answers:
use the boiling water then sub cold water for skyy. but put is in the frezzer over night before hand so it is nice and cold it will set better if is is ice cold as compared to roomtemp. couse warm booze doesn't set well takes a long time. the skyy won't freeze just so you know.

when you make your jello you substitute one cup of water for vodka

Oooh, I love Skyy Vodka good choice. I made them once before and I think from taking the package directions on jello you dump the powder into a bowl and add (a cup I think) of boiling/hot water then stir to dissolve the powder and when the box calls for (I think another cup) of cold water that's when I just poured in the vodka (same measurement). I did 2 different flavours (lime and raspberry). I made them for a New Years party so I just put them out on my back deck (live in cold climate). Anyway, they turned out great. Good luck.

I'm assuming this is the same thing that I call electric jello, but if not, please ignore this recipe.

If you want the jello to gel, you can't use too much vodka. I suggest adding 1/2 the boiling water the instructions on the box call for. Dissolve the jello powder completely, then add 1/4 of the amount of water as cold water to cool it down a little. (Remember, alcohol boils at a lower temperature than water.) Then add 1/4 of the suggested water volume as vodka rather than water. Mix it up, pour it into whatever containers you like, and stick it in the fridge. It may take longer than normal jello to set, so the simplest thing is to make it the day before so it has more than enough time.

(So if the recipe calls for 2 cups of water, that's 1 cup boiling water, then 1/2 cup cold water, then 1/2 cup vodka.)

You may be able to up the alcohol content a little bit, but the more alcohol you add, the longer the jello will take to set, the higher the probability that it will never set, and the higher likelihood there is of it tasting gross (in my opinion.)

i used a red jello and lots of liquor,to get the jello nice and hard use gelletine its clear with no flavor you use it to get the jello nice and hard;)
