Caipirinha - Granulated Sugar or Brown Sugar?!

Caipirinha - Granulated Sugar or Brown Sugar?

This one is for all you Brazilian Caipirinha lovers... Which do you prefer - granulated white sugar or brown sugar?

I'm also looking for rum brand suggestions. I've traditionally used Pitu cachaca, but I also like Cruzan light white. Ideas?


Answers:
The only authentic way is to use white, I prefer super fine over granulated.
Leblon is my favorite Cachaca, I have tasted it back to back with Pitu and it is superior.
The best rums I have had lately are: white: 10 Cane and Tommy Bahama. Gold: Montecristo or Pyrat XO.

Brown Sugar

The best Rum is Bundy rum, good old queensland diesel will run anything
