What kind of wine would I like?!

Question: I don't like wine that is dry. I also don't like wine that is too sweet. I do like something that is very crisp, refreshing, maybe a little citrusy.

i have the same exact taste as you do! i like cheapy wines, so ive tasted a bunch. i don't know if youve ever heard of a wine called voga? its like $9 a bottle, its a pinot grigio and its a perfect cylinder bottle, so its easy to spot and its my favorite so far. its light and has a nice ending, not dry at all. the bottle caught my attention and was the main reason i bought it, and it smells lemony. its a great "sitting outside and sipping" wine. for the price, i love it.

Pinot Grigio or Viognier should be suitable.

mon ami....pink catawba.

it's inexpensive & delish!

Pinot Gris or Riesling.

You want one with a decent amount of acid. You will find both that don't have enough to balance out the sweet. (it's called "flat") But they aren't to hard to find and most of them are right there.

Pinot Grigios are great (although a lot of wine connoisseurs will tell you not to touch them), but stay AWAY from Voga. It's a cool bottle and all, and that's why I bought it, but it is certainly lacking in taste, and far too sweet. Go with Santa Margherita, it's from Italy (2006 if you can find it), it's also a Pinot Grigio, but far less sweet, with an amazing taste and aroma.

oh gosh. I'm the same exact way. let me recommend a wonderful wine to you. It's called Gewurztramanier. If you get it by Fetzer it's about 12 dollars per bottle. Other companies make it too. Give it a shot. You'll really like it.
