im traveling to australia next month and i was wonder how much beer costs in the bars and also mixed drinks?

about 4.50 for a schooner (I think thats 375ml) of beer and about 7 or 8 for a spirit and mixer.
You have to try Coopers Pale Ale.
I payed 7 dollars for a double rye and coke and 4 for a beer in Noosa, Qld.
5 dollars for vodka and orange in Arlie beach, Qld
It is about the same as in the Americas. Just do yourself a favor and do not buy Fosters.
You'll find it quite ok to drink in bars etc without the cost blowing out too much but when you hit the clubs etc you'll find the prices leap -but I suppose that's the same everywhere eh?
