Why does beer foam when someone hits your bottle?!

Question: Why does beer foam when someone hits your bottle!?
When one person is drinking beer from a bottle, and another person hits the bottom of their beer bottle to the top of the other, why does that cause beer to foam and pour out like crazy!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Beer has CO2 impregnated into it!. Any sudden movement or agitation will cause the CO2 to release and detach itself from the liquid molecules!. The foaming is due to the sudden surge of the CO2 heading for the only exit!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Firstly, i love doing that to people as a prank!
But yeah i think its because it forces air into the bottle, causing a build up of pressure!. Therefore when you remove the bottle, the air rushes out, causing an imbalance of pressure that results in the beer (as its fizzy) to spurt out!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Because it angers the beer fairy that lives in the bottle!

Nah, the action just causes the carbonation dissolved in the beer to release quickly!. Creating foam and flat beer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The shockwaves moving through the glass cause a large amount of dissolved CO2 in the beer to suddenly release, thus, fomage!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
