How do I send/mail a bottle of champagne to my sister??!
I need to mail a bottle of champagne out of state and I know you cant send it through the USPSWww@FoodAQ@Com

do not use the USPS, as knowingly shipping alcohol through them is a federal offense
Most people who trade beer use a private carrier (FedEx, UPS, DHL) I have had great experiences with FedEx!. If they ask, say it's a collectible bottle or something!. If they find out they may get mad, but will not prosecute like USPS!.!.!.but unless it breaks and leaks, chances are they will not find out!. People do this every day!.
Wrap the bottle in bubble wrap very well, then create a buffer between the bottle and box walls using foam and newspaper!. also, put the wrapped bottle in a plastic bag to contain any spills in case of breakage!.
If you don't feel comfortable dropping the package from head height, pack it better!.
Do not mark the package as fragile!. I have friends who work in shipping distribution centers, and the loaders see this as a target and a challenge to test the integrity of your packing job!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Pack the item carefully before taking it to the post office!. Mark the box as "Glass Collectible / Fragile" and just don't mention that it has alcohol, because the post office won't ask!. This is how many people trade beer around the country everyday!. You aren't lying, but you are giving selective information!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
