Frankly, if someone orders 151 in a shot I know they are an immature drinker!.
Over-proofed alcohols are like hot sauces; there comes a point where you have to trade flavor for heat!. Super hot pepper sauces are only hot and taste little of pepper!. It's the same with over-proofed alcohol!. 151 tastes more like alcohol than rum!. People don't generally like the flavor of alcohol so they add something to it, tonic, juice, ice, whatever!. A shot of 151 flies in the face of that!. It's as if the drinker is saying I love the crappy flavor (and if people were actually like that they would server Ethanol with water!.) OR he/she is saying I love getting messed up!. Either way it's an attitude that a teenager might have!.
The truth is that 151 is usually more expensive and if you really wanted to get messed up then you could just drink a double of something normal at the same price and you wouldn't have to suffer through it!.
Just like you don't drink hot sauce straight you should also only use 151 the same way!. For up proofing drinks that would otherwise taste bland!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think they are smart get to good stuff when you can taste it and drink the bad stuff when you are drunk!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think they are off to a good start!

esp since "you know they're there to get plastered" as you put it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

They are HARDCORE! such as myself, and don't wanna waste time being all !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.*shudders soberWww@FoodAQ@Com

as a bartendar i have to keep a close eye on those people!. it's my job to make sure they don't get out of hand!. i always make sure that there is a designated driver!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
