What's the best wine you've ever had?!

Question:

What's the best wine you've ever had?

specifically...

Answers:
Rosso Del Conte from Sicily. Grape variety is a Nero D'avola. Very full bodied. See Tasca D'Almerita

Lakeridge Winery in Clermont, Fl makes it. It's called Southern Red. It's a sweet red wine. Very full bodied. Not sweet like a white zinfandel which i find way too mild.. Very flavorful.

St.Huberrtus - Gertz its great - check it out

Well today I'd have to say 2004 Barefoot Reserve Zinfandel, to date would have to be 2006 Fetzer Gewurztraminer.

Try Mer Soleil Chardonnay if wine can taste buttery, creamy and with hints of vanilla than this is it. Only costs 30.00 -38.00 but sold at resturants for double the price.

It's not a very expensive wine but is absolutely beautiful. I fell in love with it over summer and haven't gotten sick of it yet. Its 2005 St Claire Estate Sauvignon Blanc - from the marlborough region in New Zealand.

Messina Hoff Gamay Beaujolais - you can only purchase it in Texas.

I think that would be too hard to name, there's so many good ones and price is definately a factor. Recently, I've been a big fan of Henschke's Hill of Grace 1999, it's a beautiful Shiraz from the Eden Valley (part of the Barossa Valley region of South Australia).... yum. :)

Greg Norman Shiraz- but Naia may be better....

It was a bottle of Cakebread Chardonnay, 2002 I think, and it probably tasted as good as it did because I was completely in love with the sexy little Niles Crane type lawyer who ordered it for us to share, at a restaurant we'd waited weeks to get a reservation at, and because he remembered that I'd wanted it on our first date but the restaurant was all sold out.

It's an awesome wine on its own, and I'm not a fan of Chardonnay... but the experience made it taste even better.

Was that specific enough? lol

"Sixth Sense" Syrah
