I notice a lot of people who answer always relate to the
bad stereotypes eg winos on super lager. Recently in
scotland sales of Buckfast tonic wine have risen among
the lower middle classes as my friend's delivery business
cant shift it quick enough to posh housing areas.
So are people really that two faced,"I ll drink it as long as
nobody see's me".
So next time you see a jakey drinking in the street it
figures that they cant all be responsible for the sales of
booze that isnt fashionable.

There is a lot of snobbery in food and wine. The best wine or beverage for you is the one YOU like to drink! At many wine dinners for example, I see a lot of shallow, pretentious people who know peanuts about wine immediately exclaim, "Oh that one is the best!" when they hear it is the most expensive in terms of $. A lot only know of wines from a certain region of France that begins with "B" and ends with "x". There are actually 14 different wine regions in France! Once I even heard a so-called wine expert ask one of the top people in the Burgundy wine board, "What are the different grapes do you use to make the white wines?" In Burgundy, the home of Chablis, there is only one - Chardonnay, Ha! Ha!

There is a time and place for everything,to walk to the school with ur kids having them jump over sick make me sick. They are starting to understand alcoholism is an illness, bit late as i grew up with an alcoholic mother.Now she's worse! lost any chance of being part of the 3 kid's she staggered out on,also her 6 gran-kid's life as her life is booze. I personally don't contact her because i love her so much that when a bottle come 1st i hurt bad .One thing she shown me that what a red face 2 be seen in that state so 2 drink with friend go out etc no prob but to depend on anything apart from the people u no r ur true strength 2 get through life as hard as times my get at least you will never have an empty glass ,bottle ,life whatever.
Sounds true to me. Remember the big hoo-ha when Victoria/David Beckham said their favourite wine was Leibfraumilch??? I hate them usually but at least they weren't afraid to admit liking something that wasn't vintage Crystal, but the press slated them!
