Put white wine on it, leave to soak in, then wipe over with clean damp cloth, if its clothes put it in the washing machine if its the floor hover it.

Most laundry detergents can handle the wine on clothes but try 1001 or some carpet cleaner for deep staines. Don't throw white wine on it, it just dilutes the colour and wastes the wine.
pour white wine or salt onto it and mop it up straight away
Blot what you can with toweling... then use a rag soaked in hydrogen peroxide to clean up up the rest. Soak it good... leave it sit if you need to... then blot up the excess moisture.
If you don't have hydrogen peroxide then use club soda.
Clean it as best as possible before it stains.
clothes, table cloth, napkins etc: wash right away, don't leave to dry. Red wine is actually one of the lesser headaches, contrary to popular belief, just don't let it dry up.
carpet: pour salt over the still wet stain, the salt will soak up the wine; vacuum, repeat the salt trick if necessary (you can take a little white wine, or red wine, after the first 'salt trick', rub gently, add again salt, leave a minute or so and vacuum again).

The best thing to do is to put salt on it, gently rub it in this will absorb most of the wine and then put white wine on it. And after that put your clothes in bio-tex and then wash it. Good Luck

Pour ordinary table salt on the stain while it is still wet. The salt will absorb the stain. If it's dried, dampen area with water and use the salt.

You really are not a conservationist - not only throwing it over your clothes but on the floor as well. Some would recommend white wine again thrown over your clothes and floor - me well I would suggest the following:
1. Take off clothes and mop up floor with them.
2. Put clothes in washing machine and hope to god the stains come out.
3. Take a clean glass, uncork the white wine, sit back and enjoy in the knowledge that you are naked-if you spill any down you it will not show-just concentrate on where your mouth is!!
