I'm 20, can I drink beer in canada?
through television I've always thought the legal drinking age was 21... but recently read somewhere that the legal age in canada is actually 18-19. Is it true, and if it is, I cannot believe that I've been allowed to buy alcohol for almost 2 years, and I've been sitting here drinking pepsi instead. if it's true and that I can legally buy alcohol at 20 years old in canada, I'm gonna go out today and get DRUNK!

Of course you can!! You must have been watching american T.V., the legal age there is 21. I think Alberta is the only province the the age is 18, the other provinces the age is 19. So go have fun!! Just make sure you don't drive!! Take a friend as a designated driver or take a cab!! Cheers!!

Yes you can. The legal drinking age is 18 in Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec, and 19 in all other provinces/territories. In fact, you can drink beer in almost any country in the world now. Only a few countries, including the US, have the drinking age set at 21; I don't know for sure of the others.
