I have a bottle of champagne that has been in the pantry for 3 years. Is it still good?!

Question: I have a bottle of champagne that has been in the pantry for 3 years!. Is it still good!?
Answers:
As long as it was stored properly, it should be okay!. By properly, I mean on it's side, to keep the cork wet!. Once a cork dries out, the wine or champers will end up getting air in it and will be nothing more than vinegar with a fancy label!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

it should be really good!. unless your pantry got above 67 degrees!. you want your wines to be stored in a cool dark place!. you could always open it to find out!. if you're unsure after you taste it then just cook with it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

it sounds like it would be okay but it could turn to vinegar, only one way to find out!.!.!.pop that cork and cheers!Www@FoodAQ@Com

i would say , yes it is still good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Was it a fresh place if it is the case you can be sure that it is still good but if it was a hot place I am not sure that it will be good!.For wine and champagne the best way to keep good the bottles is to put them in the cave!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Unless the bottle has seen way too much light or the pantry is warm, it will still be fine!. If it wasn't in a good storage space the taste will be compromised depending on the quality of the champagne!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yours is fine, I am still trying to get my sister and brother-in-law to open the bottle Dom Perignon I gave them for a wedding gift, 23 yrs ago, it was the last of the 1978 vintage!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

probably be a bit matureWww@FoodAQ@Com

pop it open, if it doesn't taste flat or like vinegar it's fine!Www@FoodAQ@Com
