Question: 21st Birthday Ideas -- alcohol laws!?
See I wanna do something fun since I never had a sweet 16 or anything Id like to go nuts for just once in my life and get wasted and do all that 'right of passage' stuff !.!. Ive been working so hard in school lately !.!. but I dont wanna have a house party cuz I still live with my rents and dont wanna them in trouble, god forbid!. Im the first out of my friends to turn 21 besides my bf and I was thinking of maybe renting a big hall or something!. Can I do that and have my own supply of alcohol there for guests if some people are under 21!? I live in NYC so if that helps -- if u have any suggestions throw em in!. Thanks guys =]Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
In NYC, any place in which you - an adult - serve (or cause to be available) alcohol to children (all your friends) will get you a free trip to Riker's!. (If you don't know what's on Riker's, it's that big island between Laguardia and the Hunt's Point section of the Bronx - the one with the jail!.) Have the party, but don't have alcohol, or have alcohol but wait until the guests are 21!. (Bloomberg is serious about busting people who serve alcohol to kids, even if the "kid" will turn 21 the next day - when he says zero tolerance, he doesn't mean even 5 minutes tolerance!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com

don't do anything to crazy , get you close friends and have a small party some where!?

I think they might rent to your parents, but you would be liable for underage drinkingWww@FoodAQ@Com

i wouldnt rent a hall!.!.!.!.if youre gonna have underage people there, id recommend getting a hotel room for the party!. go all oout!.!.!.!.jacuzzi suite, two/three bedroom, so everyone!.!.!.especially the underage crowd can crash and not be out on the roads!. first and foremost, be careful, dont drive/!.!.!.!.and by all means, have the time of your life! only 21 once!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
