Is a bar and a pub the same thing? Is not, what is the difference?!

Question: Is a bar and a pub the same thing!? Is not, what is the difference!?
Answers:
Generally pubs serve food and have beer on tap!. And have lots of tables for sitting and talking!.

Bars usually don't have beer on tap and probably don't serve much food!. They usualy have a dancefloor!.

There are lots of exceptions though!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

when i think 'pub' i think like, old, smokey, old men, old music, beer, whiskey, the sort of place you'd find in a small town!.

but for 'bar' i think club, raging music, lots of people, lights, fancy drinks!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's the same thing, in England or Ireland they call them pubs in the US they call them bars and in some places pubsWww@FoodAQ@Com

in the u!.s!. they are used interchangably!. mostly, however, something that says "pub" usually wants you to know it has beer on tap (usually pints) - english or irish!.

over there, the pub is part of the social fabric of life!. family, friends, neighbors!. unlike bars here which attract losers, wanabees, criminals and other seedy individuals!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes same thing both sell boozeWww@FoodAQ@Com
