What does it mean to be a tequila master?!
I'm taking a coures where if I pass I will be considered a tequila master, is that a recognized certification!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Julio is the worldwide authority on tequila!. He's given demonstrations for The Royal Family in London and been on the cover of the Wall Street Journal for importing more 100% agave tequila into the US than anyone else!.
Plus he's a great guy, EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT TEQUILA, and funny as hell!.
The guy above me certainly knows his stuff a little, but the master's course Julio will take you through gives you a whole lot more depth of information!. You will also be tasting (over the course of months) hundreds of tequilas, some only found in Julio's bar (other than in Mexico)!.
To answer your question, those who REALLY know tequila will certainly recognize what it means to be certified by Julio and to have taken the course at Tommy's, but there is no "official" certification recognition!.

No clue, I only drink the stuff!.
For me, a Tequila master one who can name the 3 ages of tequila (and knows how long they need to be in the barrel), can suggest brands OTHER then Patron, and knows that worms are found in bottles of Mescal, not tequila!. If you know these, then you are a "tequila master" in my eyes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
