say you go into a beer store and try and buy beer with a fake id. if the guy catches it and calls you out what can he do to you?
these are possible things i would think
1. gives it back and says leave
2. keeps it and says leave
3. calls the cops
which is most likely to happen, and can you get in trouble if he catvches you? cuz i keep thinking that if when im older and i try this that im gonna spend money on one and at some point ill get caught and the guy will keep it and make threats. so can any one help me out as to what can possibly happen and what kind of trouble id get in

Where I shop, a great store also frequented by local college kids, there's a large board behind the register and it's covered in all the fake ID's theve confiscated.
Dude if you respect yourself do NOT DO THIS.
The guy will probably call the cops because it is on tape at most stores and he can get fired if he doesn't. Then your parents will get involved and so will your school or college who will then put it on your permanent record. So plz, wait its not worth it

Your best bet of getting away with a fake ID is in a bar, especially if its busy they dont have time to be that thorough and if they are they will most likely give you the ID back and tell you to leave at worst they will take. They most likely wont call the cops unless you are uncooperative and make the doorman/bartender mad. The liquor store is about 50/50 shot out here where I live they have scanner that check bar codes on the back of IDs if they arent sure, most fakes wont pass this tests.
Getting caught with a fake id is now a felony!! I would not chance it.

ever heard of "cops in shops" you might want to check that out.
in a bar it is usually easy to catch a fake i.d. because the person using it is nervous,not really confident,and doesn't know how to act. what we do is we let you pick out a place on the wall by the door,and we staple it to the wall. never less i was under once and used a fake i.d. all the time,however,that was a long time ago and i.d.s are harder to fake. GOOD LUCK!
I go to college in Minneapolis, and a couple of buddies of mine have fakes, one hasn't been caught yet, and he's used it a ton of times, the other is using his brother's old license and he gets caught aboutt half the times he uses it, and all that happens is they tell him to leave, I don't know maybe it's different when you aren't around a college campus, but it's never been a big deal when he gets caught, just make sure you don't make an *** of yourself if you do otherwise something more serious might happen.
