How do you get the smell of alcohol off of your breath?!

Question:

How do you get the smell of alcohol off of your breath?

Answers:
Well I'm loving how this is in a forum about beer and wine and spirits, and everyone's answer is to not drink. and then a few go on to actually answer the question anyways...haha...makes me laugh.

anyways. it's basic, brush your teeth and tongue, make sure to get the back of your tongue. swish a little mouthwash through and you're good.

Don't get it on your breath.

How old are you? Are you trying to hide it from your employer or your parents?

brush your teeth, take a bath, and drink some lemon juice

don't drink

pick a type with no smell...vodka

u don't! i read about it one time, there is pretty much no cure.

Well u could always NOT DRINK!! by the way how old r u?? trying to hide that u have been drinkin from ur parents or boss?? hope not!!
use Listerine mouthwash and eat some food to get the smell off ur breath...

I've heard of so many ideas but because alcohol also seeps through your pores that your breathe isn't the only thing you need to worry about.

The strangest one I heard of was to suck on a penny (never tried it so don't know). The standard gum, mouthwash, etc. doesn't work I do know that much!

no joke, swish a few pennies through your mouth, i know its disgusting but it does work. mix a little listerine with those pennies and youre good to go

tomato juice ... i use to be a bartender i know

assume your resposability, if you want to hide that you drink, BETTER DON'T DRINK... anyway, I have heard that (I don′t know the name in english) if you chew a kind of natural stick known in spanish as Clavo Especie will kill any bad breath.

I was told once that if I ever was stopped by the police and had been drinking to pop a garlic clove in my mouth and chew it up.I have never driven and drank, but once my husband tried it and he got away with it.I would say that you probably can't smell anything but garlic after you chew that.

Smoke a strong cigar. But don't use this to drive a car while drunk.
