Sooner or later, we all drink alone. It kills what ails us, it makes us forget that the problems we pass out with tonight, we'll make up with tomorrow.

Drinking is infectious....it helps us feel not so bad for awhile.

I say Cheers after my 5th beer.

Cheers.

you have a problem see about it before alcohol takes over

yes your to young you sound depresed?

there is a reason they have an age prerequisite for buying alcohol. you have to be responsible when you are under the influence. what you are doing is illegal but you don't need me to tell you that. it's also unhealthy, physically and chemically. this is how addictions manifest. just give it some honest thought before you continue down this path.

Yes. I like my booze and I usually drink alone. I live out in the country where there's no public transport. A friend of mine also lived in the country, not far away, and unfortunately he liked drinking at the pub, so he collected a lot of convictions for drunk driving. Eventually he was caught, expected to go to jail and killed himself. Don't worry. I used to drink when I was at high school. Drinking only becomes a problem if it interferes with work or study, if you abuse people, if you drink drive or if it ruins your finances. I brew my own, so cost isn't a problem. The World Health Organisation definition of an alcoholic is somebody who drinks at least 330 grams of pure alcohol a day. That's a lot of booze. A good working definition of somebody with a drinking problem is somebody with more than 1 drink driving conviction. If you have your last drink before it gets you into trouble, you haven't got a problem.

You are too young to be drinking, wait until you're older and before your drinking becomes a problem

I do, and that's the way I like it. Other people annoy me. I like to drink in peace.

If you are still in high school, and drinking every night, you may want to take it easy for a bit and consider some long term effects of alcohol use, there are many more reasons NOT to drink at all,or, at least very rarely, and, not excessively, than for reasons TO do the same. In my own personal opinion, alcohol consumption is very bad for the health and lives of human beings. BE careful!,and don't ever feel that you need to drink to feel okay or to be able to socialize. I made the mistake of not being open to learning alternatives, and the School of Hard Knocks,is, NOT one to be happy about attending. sincerely....

yea i do cuz it's peaceful & u can enjoy ur buzz without all the bs that people cause cuz they don't know how to handle there liquor i know some of u know what i am talking about

Of cost it's a problem, big big problem,to day you drink just to feel it and tomorrow you will surely drink FOR the feeling, you
are 18, just imagine how you will be soon as alcoholic, start looking for a place in the street to sleep. hey man stop it right now.

yeah it might be a problem, try not drinking for a couple days and if you can't do it or you notice a huge change in your mode, you should seek out some help man

It's okay to drink socially and it's okay to drink alone. Some people prefer it that way. But regardless of whom you are drinking with if you are drinking everynight then yeah, that's called being an alcoholic, or very bloody close to it anyway. Maybe take a break from drinking by yourself and get some friends to do some sober stuff with, you can drink with them too of course but find something better to do. You're only `18 for criminy's sake, go to a club or learn to sail or take an art class or dance class or something.
