Foxen is maybe the most well known because of the movie "Sideways". Their Pinot Noir is quite respectable (if you can find some. Some of their other wines are also quite satisfactory but are even harder to find.)

Santa Barbara is probably most known for its top quality Chardonnay, Syrah, and Pinot Noir. Many other varietals are produced and you will find excellent wines of every varietal as you tour California Central Coast wineries.
