Help with cigars!!?!

Question:

Help with cigars!!?

I have smoked cigars before but only those cheap $1 cigars from the gas station. Recently I went to my local cigar shop and bought a $7 cigar. Whenever I smoke I find myself always spitting, and the taste isn't really pleasant. So my question is: Is my problem with the cheap cigars, or am I just right now not use to smoking one?
I haven't been smoking them for long. I just turned 18 in February.
THANKS IN ADVANCE

Ask the guy at the cigar store for a nice, light cigar, either the Drew Estate Chateau Real or CAO Gold. The CAO will be between 5-7 dollars, the Drew Estate about 6-8. They are both flavorful, but light cigars that are good for a newcomer to cigars. The cheap cigars that you have been smoking have more in common with a cigarette then they do with a cigar. Most of them have short filler, which is chopped bits of tobacco left over from cigarette and cigar manufacturing. These bits of tobacco can come out of the cigar and make you want to spit, or, the cigar may be a bit too strong for you, which can also make your mouth water.

Stop smoking and your lungs will say Thank You in the years to come.

The way you inhale cigars is different from cigarettes, it is very hard to explain how though however. You should ask a friend that smokes cigars to show you how.

What you describe here appears to be the salivation from having the cigar in your mouth and puffing the smoke. That is normal and the taste of it is in part from the smoke and a big part from the nicotine in the tobaco leaves. You might get use to it. Stay away from those cheap things you called cigars. Good luck and happy smoking.

Make sure you're not inhaling it like you would a cigeratte. But cigars do leave and aftertaste in your mouth (mostly depends on how cheap they are) and you will taste it the next morning most likely. A mistake I've done a few times to get a nasty cigar is lighting it too fast. Take your time and dont just suck the bejebies out of it the minute you light it.

Cigars are an aquiered taste also. Maybe you just dont like them. Also when you go to the Cigar shop ask for a real mild cigar. Every cigar taste different and everyone has their preference.
