i have some beer i never drank!. i bought it in January!. is it still good to drink will it get me drunk still and well i get sick from it!. unopen too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Check & see if it has a 'born-on date' or a best if consumed by date!. If it's a mass produced beer, it should be fine for up to a few months after its bottling date!. After that, the flavor might start to dissipate, but it will NOT get you sick!.
The beer will only get skunked if it has been exposed to light!. Even if it has not been refrigerated, it should be fine!. Extreme temp changes could cause it to oxidize (which would affect the flavor), but again, only light causes skunkiness!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Bottom line is I'm sure it will be fine no matter what but it sort of depends on what kind of beer we're talking about here!. If it's a Bud, Corona, Heineken something like that it might be a touch skunked but still drinkable!. Can!? Bottle!? If it's a beer with a lot of hops, such as an IPA, the flavor might be a touch mellow compared to fresh hops but still good!. Some beers age quite well like Belgians and Barleywines and get better with age!. Anyways, I'm sure it's fine you won't get sick!.!.!. unless of course you drink too many of them :-)Www@FoodAQ@Com
You will still get just as drunk, you wont get sick, but it may taste different depending on how (especially if it was moved / shaken alot), and where it was stored!. I've never let beer sit around more than a week!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Beer stays good as long as it is unopened!. Just be careful not to drink to much since it is your first time!. Your system wont be use to it, so you will feel the effects almost immediately!.
