What brand of vodka was common in the UK in the 60's?!

Question:

What brand of vodka was common in the UK in the 60's?

I read somewhere that Smirnoff vodka was not available at this time but I don't know how true that would be.

Answers:
cossack, vladivar, samovar and imperial.

Lennin-Krushev

Smirnoff and Vladivar

nah it was this weird stuff with a russian guy on a horse on the label, mum has some in the attic, was gonna drink it but never got that desperate lol

Which part of the sixties? It lasted ten years! In 1960, vodka wasn't generally available. Three or four years later, it was the "in" drink. Vodka & lime for the girls, just with ice for us lads. Smirnoff or Cossack as I recall it.

Still tastes like metal polish to me. Not that I drink metal polish of course!
