What's the BEST bottom shelf vodka?!
I would like to create a vodka infusion drink and heard that the cleanest vodka with the fewest impurities should be used so that I can have a clean canvas in which to display the flavor I want!. However, I don't want to pay top dollar if I'm going to alter the drink, so what brand should I go with!?

I would recommend Stoli or Skyy!. They are clean and just a few dollars more than the rotgut vodka!. Both are filtered more and will absorb the strawberry "juice" better!. I would also allow two weeks for the soaking!. Run the vodka through a strainer after the elapsed time to remove pulp and seeds, you can always rinse off the berries and put them back in the jar!. Straining it will make for a cleaner drink when you serve it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Skyy is a good middle-of-the-road brand to use for infusions!. Strawberries have a pretty strong flavor, so it should make for a pretty tasty infusion!. Stay away from the cheap stuff in the plastic bottle!. It's a few dollars cheaper but the burn and the taste is terrible!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Polar Ice!. You can get a half gallon for around $22 and it has never given me a hangover!. Not all liquor stores carry it though!. Hope you can find it!Www@FoodAQ@Com
i would say finlandia if that is considered bottom shelf!. it's sort of borderline!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
