Answers:
In a glass, definitely!.

First, you can drink draught beer (from the tap) in a glass too!.

But I think it's better to decant bottled beer, in order to remove sediment (from beers which have some), and most importantly appreciate the bouquet!. Sounds wanky, but if you really like the beer in question - and this can be *any* beer - maybe you really like cheap domestics, sometimes we all do! - drinking from a glass allows you to get a good whiff of the aroma and appreciate it much better!. Some beers (e!.g!. wheat beers) you'd *only* drink from a glass!.

And which glass you choose will suit the beer in question!. Some will need to retain the chill (i!.e!. for lagers, pilsners), Other beers do better a little warmer, so can be more open and allow you to get more aroma!.

Drinking beer from bottles is for the beach, the park and bbq's only!. It's a practice that has its time and place too, but it's not the best for appreciating BEER!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you appreciate good beer, you do not drink it ice cold!. That is for "lawnmower beers" and the megabrewery products that have to be chilled to kill the taste!.

If you ever get a chance to go to a beer-tasting or to order a sampler tray at a restaurant, take advantage of the opportunity!. It will open a brand new wonderful world to you!. These will always be served in glasses!. Different glasses are designed for different styles of beer to maximize your enjoyment!. You COULD drink from a jelly glass but getting a whiff of a hefeweisen or a barleywine from the right glass is a pleasure in itself (not that you would pass up drinking the ambrosia)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There are people who say beer tastes better in a glass because pouring it and letting it fizz a little 'releases' the flavor!. I don't know if I believe that or not!. I like it either way!.

At a restaurant or bar I like it better in a glass only because it's draft beer and I like that better! 8^) But I will happily drink it out of the bottle if it comes in a bottle!. It all ends up the same place!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

from a cold glass bottle!.

I prefer it in a mug!. It tastes a lot better from a glass than a bottle or can and doesn't have that weird, trapped up flavor mixed with that aluminum/glass taste!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

depends on the beer!. if it's just a bud or labatt, then i drink it out of the bottle!. but, good beer deserves a glass!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It depends on the occation and your company!. Formal vs Informal occations I guess!.!.!.and doing what everyone else is doing !.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Either bottle or glass is fine as long as the beer is good and cold!. However definitely NOT from a can!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Glass!. Don't freeze them because the condensation will dilute the beer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
