Every one has their own opinions!. Each company that makes it has their own take on it!. Some are better than others!. Personally I like A&W the best, but there's also Barq's, Mug, and each store usually has their generic version(most of those are just awful!. But if you don't like it then you don't like it!. Try it with vanilla ice cream in it, root beer floats are the best!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I like the stuff!. But I guess that if you never had it the first taste might be "surprising"!. The flavoring is actually Sarsaparilla!. I only have had the soft drink type!. It is great with pizza!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

root beer is like ginger ale made from natures root! best tasting is A&W root beer! forsted glass of the stuff is good better than a Dr!. pepper which is jkinda licoriecey!Www@FoodAQ@Com
