How old do you have to be to buy cigars in California?!

Question:

How old do you have to be to buy cigars in California?

I was just on the Swishers website, and noticed it said that you must be 21 to enter. I thought you only had to be 18 to buy cigars.

Answers:
18 for tobacco, 21 for alcohol.

it is not 21 for tobacco in all states. of course if you find a store shady enought they'll sell them to you when your 14, like they did for me in CA years ago. they've been cracking down alot since then.

You have to be 21 to buy any tobacco products in the U.S. And while I'm here responding to your question, I highly suggest you invest in a good pipe or bong.

Legally, 21. However, there are some dirty sellers who would be willing to illegally sell them to anyone younger.

yes but it varied by state. but even camel for them to let you sign up for there promotions you need to be 21 and mail them a copy of your license. SO on line you need to be 21 for any of those kind of sites. you better of going to the store u only gotta be 18 for that

18 Years old

you have to be 18 to purchase any tobacco product. only going to company websites and purchasing something via mail order, will they require you to be 21.

To smoke any type of tobacco in California, you must be at least 18 years of age. Be prepared to show your ID! By the way, Swisher's are a low quality, machine-made "cigar." Go to your local tobacconist and ask for a hand-made cigar.
