How vodka is catogoraised?
some how there is some premium vodka eg. Grey Groose
Answers:
while i think vodka is the most pointless liquor ever, it is graded pretty much in lack of taste. The "best" vodka doesnt have any "off" flavor. Off flavor is anything that isnt water or alcohol. Since vodka is distilled over and over, each time more of the "foreign" flavors are removed. Lower quality vodkas arent distilled as well or as many time as premium ones.

Choosing the right brand of vodka can be a difficult one.
Cost, taste, and intended use are important factors to consider. Less expensive brands will generally be hotter and burn in the mouth, these are good for a tight budget or for cocktails with other ingredients that have strong flavors like a Bloody Mary. Premium and Super-Premium brands are going to be excellent choices for shots and light drinks such as Vodka Martinis. There is also an increasing number of flavor-infused and specialty vodkas on the market that open up new cocktail possibilities.

More details about Vodka
Vodka is an alcoholic drink that is usually about 40% alcohol. It is clear, and is usually mixed with other liquids before people drink it.
Things that are made into Vodka
Vodka can be made from different things:
Molasses (which comes from the production of sugar) are used to produce the cheapest vodka. Because of the ingredient, this kind usually tastes sweeter than vodka made from grain. Soy beans, grapes or sugar beets may also be used, but are less common.
Potatoes have been used for centuries to make vodka.
Grain is used to produce the highest grade vodka.
The process to make vodka is called distillation.
History
Most people think the name Vodka comes from the Slavic word for water. The earliest mention of Vodka in Poland is in 1405. The Russians are known to have first used the word in June 8, 1751. It is not known if it was the Russians or the Poles who made the first drinks that could be classified as vodka.
Different kinds of Vodka
There are two basic kinds of Vodka: Clear vodka and flavoured vodka. Some types of vodka have plants or herbs added to the unflavored vodka to make it taste better.
