What would we do if beer was banned,how would we cope,no wines or hard drinks,rum etc?!

Personally I could live with such a ban!. We would all lead happier, healthier lives as a result with more money left over for other forms of enjoyment!. Drinking to excess can destroy lives and families!. There might be a loss of tax but on the other hand, there would be fewer people in hospital with drink-related problems and no deaths from drink-driving!. Bring it on!Www@FoodAQ@Com
If alcohol were banned, we'd do the same thing that we did during Prohibition in the 1920's, and the same thing we currently do with drugs: we would barter alcohol illegally and still continue to drink behind the law's back!. Ideally, the banning of alcohol should lead us towards a healthier lifestyle of alternative activities, but human nature is human nature, and all past and current events have shown that any kind of ban would not keep us away from our vices!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
It would never happen again!. The US government lost over11 Billion dollars from 1920 to 1933!.!.!. This is actual dollars and not accounting for inflation!. The government!.!.!. All governments make far to much from the taxation of alcohol to ever consider a ban on it again!.
