Pure Maine maple syrup contains no preservatives and should be kept in a cool dry place!.

After the seal is broken, it is best if the syrup is refrigerated!.

Properly prepared maple syrup will not freeze and the freezer makes an ideal storage place!.

Pure maple syrup may also be heated to 180 degrees and canned in sterilized jars!. Process any newly canned syrup in boiling water for 10 minutes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

All maple syrup should be refrigerated after opening where they can stay for up to a year!. if it hasn't been refrigerated yet you should try removing the mold and tasting a bit of syrup to see if the taste is OK!.
