Okay it's been a while. Vodka Jello shots. Jelly crystals, hot water to disolve, 1/2 cup of water 1/2 a cup of vodka. Or they wont set right?

Black Cherry Jell-o - follow first half of directions, but substitute cold water for 1/2 cup of a good quality vodka, and 1/2 cup Peach Schnapps
Pour to set in small shot glass cups (I get mine as Party City) then serve with a shot of whipped cream on top..

quantities whatever the instrcutions on the pack say, replacing part of the cold water with vodka, i think you are right using half water half vodka to make sure it sets. just make sure you don't make my mistake and add vodka as well as the water stated... mmm, has been a while for me too - enjoy!
Jello shots
Ingredients:
* 2 cups Vodka
* 3 packages Jello with sugar
* 3 cups Water
Mixing instructions:
Boil 3 cups of water then add jello. Mix jello and water until jello is completely disolved. Add the two cups of vodka and mix together. Pour mixture into plastic shot glasses and chill until firm. Then, eat away...
Generally you follow instructions on the Jello package for the most part. It usually has you boil a set amount of water and then mix in the jello mix then add another equal amount of water. Instead of adding water the second time, you add vodka. I usually use something somewhat cheap like Smirnoff, because you mostly taste the Jello anyway. Do not ever go real cheap a la Nikolai or Vladamir's, nothing good ever comes of that.
