Is football just an excuse for people to drink to excess?!

Question:

Is football just an excuse for people to drink to excess?

team wins-drink
team loses-drink

Answers:
Must not be much of a drinker either. One could drink to anything in this world, not just football.

Football is a religion . You can drink as much communion wine as you like.

!!!!!!!!!! SHUT UP !!!!!!!!!!!!

Who needs excuses?

No, you're thinking of St Patricks Day

a form of communication between a group of friends..

I can drink to excess quite easily without any football.

You're obviously a woman, you could never understand.

seems like it.

No you have that confused with baseball, which if anyone watched sober the game would stop being played.

I drink all the time and never get violent just have a laugh women drive me to drink

No ::::::team playing , drink ::
game over :::::::Mmmmmm (stick around)

It's just fun. Plus it's an excuse to eat too much food. Game days are a good way to invite people over and have beer, food, camaraderie. There's a serious lack of fun in this world, might as well make special days to just let loose!

Thats more Rugby isn't it?

What you call me?

there is way more to football than drinking to excess. i enjoy watching it because some of the strategies the coaches use are fun to watch. in fact i will not even drink while my team (Bears) is playing. some people do drink to excess during games, but they do that when football seasons over too.

women drive men to drink to excess.

Oh dear, this is just what happens when women are allowed to comment on Gods Game, All you do is demonstrate to thousands of people just how little you know about the greatest game the world has ever known.
If i wanted an excuse to drink to excess, and I don't, I would need look no further than to listen to the dribble and BS which falls out of your mouth.
Now go back to having conversation's about Kittens and cooking......its what your gender does best.

People who drink to excess don't need an excuse. Sports, birthdays, holidays, days that end in y - whatever.

I can't wait for football season to start. Go Steelers!

Its as good an excuse as any.

I think it is not an excuse
