Chasing is when you take a shot of alcohol and then quickly drink something non-alcoholic after it (or something with a little alcohol!.!.!.as long as it tastes good) to get rid of the alcohol taste!.

Chase means to drink the alcohol, then drink something else to throw off the taste and reduce the burning!. I chase Everclear with Cherry Coke, some vodkas with Hawaiian Punch, and most whiskeys with Coke!. Your chaser really depends on what you like and what goes well with the alcohol!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
